Cybersecurity, Cyberthreat Intelligence, and Cyber-Situational Awareness

Dr. Sikos employs formal knowledge representation, automated reasoning, and deep learning in the Knowledge and Software Engineering Lab at the University of South Australia in network applications that require cyber-situational awareness, and works closely with the Cyber and Electronic Warfare Division of the DST Group, a leading research agency of the Australian Government. He also collaborates with the Information Security and Privacy Group of CSIRO’s Data61.

Data Science

Dr. Sikos primarily uses Semantic Web technologies and data science practices for DL-based machine-interpretable representations, entity resolution, automated reasoning, and data integration, normalization, and visualization.

Dr. Sikos participates in NGTF projects, such as Network Knowledge Provenance and Modeling Complex Warfighting.
