Technology & tools
This site is highly accessible and can be browsed in virtually every hardware and software environments. However, some basic requirements should be met in order to use the most advanced features and technologies. Flash Player is needed to view the header animaton. JavaScript and cookies should be enabled (cookies are used to store the selected style and font size only). Some documents are available in PDF that requires the Adobe Reader. Sample codes are provided in ZIP archives that can be opened in many operating systems without additional software.
Third-party software
All the information provided on the site can be available without third-party plug-ins or other software. Although the default version of some files (.swf and .pdf) require third-party software, the information contained by them can also be retrieved as an alternate version in the form of plain markup.
Development
The site is being developed by hand coder techniques in Notepad++. The markup language of the site is XHTML5 + RDFa. The stylesheets are written in CSS3.
Validators
The site is being validated by W3C Unicorn and Quality Assurance Tools, including the RDF Validator, the W3C Link Checker, the Semantic Extractor, the P3P Validator, and the XML Schema Validator.
Non-W3C validators and checkers are also used, e.g. Zitgist DataViewer, HiSoftware Cynthia Says, Total Validator Tool, PowerMapper SortSite.
